Founded by Darrick R. Eman, a seasoned hotel executive with over 23 years of experience in the luxury travel industry, having worked and successful positioned properties in diverse locations with regional roles in opening, rebranding and remodeling of properties for companies such as Belmond (Orient-Express), One & Only, IHG and a handful of independent resorts. A New York native, that grew up in the Caribbean and has lived in South America, Europe, Indian Ocean and most recently New Jersey and Florida.

Based in Southern Florida and currently with a portfolio of 9 hotels and resorts in Mexico as well as a luxury destination management company.

NIZUC Resort & Spa is the flagship luxury resort for the Brisas Group, having won numerous awards and accolades worldwide under Darrick’s responsibility. Other resort hotels in it’s collection are located on Mexico’s Pacific Coast and business hotels in Veracruz, Queretaro and Mexico City.

Maritur is the premier Destination Management Company in Mexico with focus on upscale incentive travel in major cities, primarily focusing on the US and Canadian markets. In business since 1977, Maritur is a leader for tailor made corporate/incentive/wedding and other event planning.
